Owensboro, Kentucky will be buzzing in a few days as Christian music performers and fans make their way to Kentucky CrabbFest, one of the largest festivals of its kind in the nation.  More than 20 performers and an expected 10,000 fans will gather in Owensboro July 7 through 11.

    








The festival will feature Nightly Concerts, Afternoon Showcases, Morning Worship Services, Seminars, Day Camps, Contests, Karoke, and much more. Wednesday July 7 will begin with a “Meet and Greet” in Moreland Park for everyone who has purchased VIP passes.  Wednesday night’s concert at Owensboro’s Sports Center will feature Gaither Homecoming Comedian/Artist Mark Lowry, Lord Song, Stan Whitmire,  the Dunaways, and Aaron Wilburn.  Thursday’s concert will feature the Hoppers, the Carolina Boys, the McRaes, and Aaron Wilburn.  Friday will ring out the tunes of Michael English, Karen Peck & New River, Gold City, the Hoskins Family, and Aaron Wilburn, while Saturday will wrap up with the Gospel Enforcers, the Isaacs, the Dove Brothers, the Talley Trio, the Freemans, and Aaron Wilburn.  The Crabb Family, Gerald Crabb, and Mike Bowling will sing nightly.  Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday’s concerts begin at 7 pm and Saturday at 6 pm.  Daytime Showcases are at 2:30 each afternoon and will feature artists such as Dottie Rambo, Mercy’s Mark Quartet, and of course, the Crabb Family. 

    Since last year’s CrabbFest, the Crabb Family has added accolades and accomplishments to an already impressive list at a rapid pace.  They received their first Grammy nomination, won two Dove Awards, and have performed with artists such as Third Day, Point of Grace, Natalie Grant, Donnie McClurkin and many others.  They are headliners to many national and local events and television performances and also host their very own weekly television on TBN.  They also recorded their latest live video at the Brooklyn Tabernacle.
