Hey everyone!! It’s Christina! I can’t believe that it’s already time for school to start…wow! If you’re like me, you have been out school shopping and getting everything ready as well as trying to get your children back on track with the time schedules(which by the way, is not always a simple task)!  As we begin to prepare for the next season in our lives, which is fall, I wanted to share with you about love and life.  When you really think about it, we use the word ‘love’ in our everyday lives probably more than we even realize.
I was researching about love, feelings, life and how much they all work together in our everyday lives.  I found, once again, that they are dynamite together.  They all work together but yet have their own way of allowing us to be ourselves during certain circumstances.  Sometimes we feel like if we really need someone it will make us seem insecure.  It’s easy for us to feel that way, but that isn’t the truth.  When we need someone, that’s what makes us strong.  This ‘need’ allows our inner emotions to shine through and for us to be who we truly are on the inside.
No matter how much we try, we are not going to go through our everyday lives without being hurt emotionally at one time or another by someone we truly love and care about. I wish that I could say otherwise, but we are only human and no one on this earth is perfect. That is all just part of human nature and living on this earth.  Love is a verb that is often mistaken for a noun.  I can tell you that even in our daily lives this is so true and we don’t always mean it to be that way but sometimes it just happens.  It’s so important for us to understand these words:  if you love someone, that means you need someone and that’s the way it’s supposed to be!
Take a moment and think about how much you love your children, spouse, family and friends; you love them and you need them.  These two words go hand in hand in our everyday lives and they are powerful. For some of us, it’s hard to show our emotions or express our love and feelings which can make it difficult for the other person in that particular relationship.  Make sure that no matter how difficult it might be for you to say ‘I love you’ or to express your feelings, that you take a few minutes a day to just tell those special people that you love them.  This is the first step in learning how to express ourselves with words in a positive manner.  Love is a part of all our lives but it depends on how we use it as to how in-depth we are with it.  It’s so much easier to love than it is to not love.  God wants us to love our families, friends, neighbors and our enemies; yes, our enemies!  We have to pray for them as well; it’s an important part of our prayer lives.  If we all just give a little extra love daily and take a little time to show it, we just might be amazed at the attitudes of many people.  Love is a very strong and powerful word and we must always remember that!
Here are words to a song that are powerful and true; they touch my heart and I hope they touch your heart as well. We all have one constant in our lives and that is our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!

When I was a little girl, I had a pink and white bedroom set that had bedposts and I would use the posts as my microphone and sing for my brother; he was my first audience! I took piano lessons for years (thank you mother!) and totally enjoyed it. I look back now and it is amazing to see that even then, the Lord was preparing me. Growing up in a Christian home, I was blessed to have a mother who prayed for me every day. We were in church every time the doors were open and would sing our hearts out. I know that somebody did some praying for me and it was my mother; my prayer warrior.
I have a very handsome, talented, smart and totally amazing son, Cayden. He is nine years old and my little man! He is a merit student at school (he has been throughout his entire school days)! Cayden takes piano lessons weekly, along with voice lessons. He is my little angel from heaven! Cayden is totally cool and is following in my musical footsteps not to mention he has the biggest heart and is such a little caretaker! I have an awesome mother, who is my angel here on earth and I love her so very much! I have one brother, Daniel, who lives in South Dakota with his two little girls that I miss so much! God has continued to bless me throughout my days here on earth and what a journey!
I spent a few years singing with my parents at different churches and it was an awesome experience. I started to learn so much more about what it truly meant to sing for the Lord! After that, I took my own paths (some of which should have been less traveled), but my mother never stopped praying for me! I always knew the Lord had a purpose for me; that my calling was with Him, but I had to be patient.
I sang with another group that still included my parents for a few years and we had the opportunity to record and have our own cd projects. I am very grateful for that experience.
Since then God has given me the opportunity to move forward with my own music ministry along with my writing ministry. My son Cayden is also singing with me, along with singing on his own and playing the piano! I am Blessed beyond measure to have the opportunity to sing with my son and to have him be such an amazing piano player. I am very grateful to the Lord for giving me the gifts and talents that I have so I can share them with others and spread tHis Gospel through my music and writing!
