Branson's Famous Dave's BBQ

One of my favorite things to do when I visit a new city is try out their cuisine. Of course, trying local restaurants and out of the way café’s is fun, but sometimes I’m just not up for the adventure. That’s when I look for a familiar sign. If hunger strikes you while you are at the Branson Gospel Music Convention, Famous Dave’s BBQ is just a short walk away at Branson Landing.

Follow your nose toward the river and look for the famous pig and flames sign. You’ll definitely want to try Famous Dave’s award winning ribs. It took twenty five years of cooking, tasting and perfecting to make this the best BBQ sauce you’re likely to find anywhere. The sauce recipe is so top secret that even Dave’s own mother doesn’t know it!

Dave Jones of the Branson, MO Famous Dave’s may not be the original “Famous” Dave, but he sure is known around town for his delicious BBQ and the outstanding service provided at the Famous Dave location. Able to accommodate a large group on as short a notice as an hour, Famous Dave’s is a great place to go for your after concert cuisine. If your group consists of eight or more, please don’t hesitate to make a reservation for faster, more seamless service.

The menu at this family friendly restaurant has a variety of items that will assure that every one in your party will find something to their liking. Even the littlest members of the family are taken care of with a special “Lil’ Wilbur” menu. Or, take the safe bet and go with Dave Jones’ favorite menu item, the Cajun Chicken Sandwich.

Dave Jones and the entire staff of Famous Dave’s BBQ wish to welcome you to Branson and hope that you enjoy your time at the Branson Gospel Music Convention and the city. According to Jones, the only thing better in Branson than the BBQ is Branson’s many lakes.
